43. Light the way,

"How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house,
And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light."

In Your light I see light, and You are the fountain thereof that brings life to my souls and truth to my inner most being. We are all lost and blind to such light until it penetrates through time and space and pierces us by the conviction of Your word. You bring forth such light by Your great mercy to us and show us Your love as the King who died for poor beggars. What can we liken to Your love? Is there anything in all creation that can compare to Your faithfulness? Any sound or song that do justice to Your glory? How precious is Your lovingkindness indeed! When sorrow overwhelms me, when temptation seeks to destroy me, You remain faithful and care for me throughout the storm. You never have and never will leave my side. And without Your light shinning in all areas of my life how am i to know what is right and wrong? Lord write the law on my heart, that i may know how to act at all times. Train me as Your ambassador to honor You in all things and represent You in Spirit and in Truth. God, You have been too good to me, and Your love i know i do not deserve. Teach me then, in light of Your abundant grace, to demonstrate my gratefulness by submission to Your Lordship. May You be glorified, now and forever for the King You are! Light the way in this ever darkening world. Amen
